First Mate 28 meters Sailing Yacht

Sailing Match is hiring a First Mate to join a high-performance sailing yacht currently based in Spain.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a proper sailing programme — the yacht will spend the summer in Greece before crossing the Atlantic to Antigua in November.

We’re looking for a candidate with at least 2 years’ experience on yachts over 80ft, strong deck skills, and solid ocean miles. You should be confident working aloft and comfortable handling a performance vessel of this size. Mechanical skills are a strong advantage.

The onboard atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with a British owner and captain, so a good attitude and easy-going personality are essential.

Salary: around €4,500/month (DOE)
Full-time, permanent position
30 days holiday + full medical cover
Start date: ASAP
