Chief Stewardess 50mt Sailing Yacht

Sailing Match is hiring! We're looking for a Chief Stewardess for a stunning 50m modern classic based in Spain.

This is a special one — not your typical stew role, and not for everyone, but for the right person it could be an incredible position.

The owner lives aboard full time — no charter guests, no turnovers, just one principal and his boat. He has a big personality, a sharp sense of humour and a genuinely warm heart.

Life on board is real, not performative, and he values people who are authentic over those who are polished. You will have a deck/stew working alongside you, but the interior is yours to run and own from day one.

The programme: Mediterranean summer France, Italy, back to Palma at the end of the season. Caribbean from November. Pacific in April/May.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: This role needs more than great service skills. The owner is on board full time and the job calls for someone with genuine emotional intelligence , a person who is naturally empathetic, resilient, and comfortable around people who think and communicate differently.

An awareness and sensitivity towards mental health is something we consider a real strength for this position.

A good sense of humour is not optional.On the sailing side , on a 50m modern classic schooner, when the sails go up, everyone goes on deck.

The stew team handles lines, assists with hoisting and reefing, and plays a real role in sailing the boat. Plenty can be learned on the job, but we are looking for someone who already knows their way around a sailing yacht and knows the ropes .

STCW ENG1 required. Salary industry standard DOE.
