Chef / Stewardess – Private Sailing Yacht | Med Season Start: ASAP | Vilanova | Seasonal contract until October

Sailing Match is looking for a talented and passionate Chef/Stewardess to join a private sailing yacht based in Vilanova for the 2026 Mediterranean season. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves cooking and thrives in a relaxed but professional onboard environment — think wholesome, hearty meals, a small and friendly crew, and a cruising program that lets you focus entirely on what you do best.

The owners are warm, sociable, and genuinely appreciate good food. Expect family-style dining most of the time, with the occasional plated meal, and a real love of homemade baked goods — a cake or batch of cookies a couple of times a week goes a long way. Pasta, wraps, and simple crowd-pleasers underway are absolutely the norm here, so this isn't a Michelin-star environment — it's one where passion, consistency, and heart matter far more than formal training.

The role is purely Chef/Stewardess. Deck involvement is not part of this position, and candidates should be fully comfortable with that. Stew duties are light — cabin turnovers, heads, and general tidying — with the wider crew lending a hand where needed.

You'll be a great fit if you:

✨ Have 2–3 years of experience cooking professionally, or a strong background in chalet or private household cooking

✨ Are confident cooking underway and keeping a calm galley at sea

✨ Have a genuine love of food and a natural ability to put together satisfying, crowd-pleasing meals

✨ Are mature, sociable, and comfortable sharing mealtimes with the owners

✨ Bring a tidy, organised approach to both galley and interior
