We are looking for a Captain for a 43 m sailing yacht currently based in Italy, available to join as soon as possible.
This is a role for a true sailor: someone who loves being under sail, not just on passage. The yacht's programme is rooted in nature, wellbeing and regeneration, so we are looking for a captain who is open-minded and genuinely aligned with those values, and who can build a positive, healthy crew culture on board.
Any nationality is welcome.
What we're looking for
- Master 500 GT minimum (or higher)
- Proven experience as Captain on sailing yachts of 35 m+
- A true sailor: you love being under sail, not just on passage
- Available to join ASAP
- Open-minded and genuinely aligned with nature, wellbeing and regeneration
- Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to build a positive crew culture
- Any nationality
Nice to have
- Ocean crossing experience
- Refit or yard period experience
- An interest in yoga, outdoor activities, sustainability or retreat-style hospitality
- Additional languages: Portuguese and Spanish are a plus for the South American season
